Last week, Google made some big changes to how people on Google + can email Gmail users.
The new update means that anyone on Google + can send email to your Gmail address without first exchanging emails.
While this is a very convenient way to integrate your G+ contacts into your Gmail, not everyone will be comfortable that anyone on G+ can send an email directly into their inbox.
With that in mind, here is a straightforward way manage who can email you to control which G+ users can send email to your Gmail account.
Open Gmail and click on the cog in the top right of the screen
Select Settings and in the General Tab, find “Email via Google+”
Select the drop down menu and apply as suitable.
