Developed with international children’s charity, Childnet, the Magda and Mo series is designed to make it easier for parents to start talking to their children about online safety, a growing concern with parents as children spend more time online.

In fact, according to AVG’s recent research, a large number of parents (42%) feel that their child is spending too much time online. As a parent it’s not always easy to know what your children are doing online and it can be easy to feel out of touch when it comes to the latest technology. AVG’s research showed that half of parents think that, by age 12, their child will be more web savvy than them.

What is clear is that parents feel that they are not fully equipped to keep their childrens safe online and are worried about how much time they are spending on internet connected devices. That’s why we developed Magda and Mo.

I believe that reading together is one of the most powerful ways to communicate messages to children and I feel that interactive stories such as these can help continue that tradition into the digital age.

Last month we introduced Magda and Mo, our interactive click-and-tell story following two inquisitive youngsters keen to explore the online world. And now they are back with Magda and Mo: Animishmash.
