What better place to start the mobile blog than a look forward to Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week.
MWC is the world’s largest mobile exhibition and we expect to see everything from brand new hardware innovations to the latest apps and keynote speakers from some of the major players in the industry.
So what can we expect from this year’s conference?
Here are three things that I personally am looking forward to at MWC 2013:
Samsung are rapidly becoming the kings of Android and their Galaxy range is proving a thorn in Apple’s side on both the smartphone and tablet fronts.
Constant innovation and some of the most user friendly, strong performing and competitively priced have made Samsung an extremely desirable brand in the gadget space and that only looks set to continue at MWC 2013.
Mobile Identity Conference
MWC isn’t just a chance for the biggest tech companies to show off their latest gadgets, but it is also an opportunity for the industry’s leading minds to come together and discuss the hot topics.
On Tuesday one of these discussions is based on mobile Privacy, a subject very close to home for me and AVG. How can we predict the effects of our mobile lifestyle on our data and privacy? In an age where we are sharing our entire lives, a discussion on the challenges we face is very welcome.
More from Huawei:
Asian giant Huawei is quickly setting itself up as a top notch gadget maker, having the created a storm at CES in January with the Ascend D2 and Mate. Not content to rest on their laurels, Huawei are set to unveil at least two new devices at MWC and if their CES showing is anything to go by, we should be very excited indeed.
What are you most looking forward to seeing at MWC? Let me know here on the blog or on Facebook.
