AMERSTERDAM and LONDON – July 15, 2013 – AVG Technologies (NYSE: AVG) today announced that, AVG will this week introduce Managed Workplace® 2013 to partners attending the Synaxon UK National Conference in Cheshire taking place 18^th-19^th July.  It is also the first opportunity for partners to learn about the enriched support resources they can now access following AVG’s acquisition of the business of Level Platforms in June.

At the event AVG will launch the Managed Workplace 2013 remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform with advanced automation features and exclusive per-device pricing to help its 600-plus members cost-effectively enter the managed services market.

On the opening day at 12:15 Dave Sobel, AVG’s Director of Partner Community, will present a keynote session on the managed services opportunity - including how resellers can develop new revenue streams as mobility, cloud, voice, video data and other technology trends converge. On the second day AVG will host two conference workshop sessions (10:00 to 11:15 and 11:45 to 13:00 in the Stapely room) that will demonstrate how Synaxon members can use RMM technology to help position services to prospects, expand offerings to existing clients and maximize performance, improve productivity and business results for end-users.

Specifically, the workshop will cover how top MSPs use network audits to build successful and growing business. It will also explore how new automation capabilities help IT service providers proactively address issues, enforce usage policies and improve security for clients while freeing internal resources from manual configuration and maintenances tasks.
